THE TOWNLAND OF CREW BEG
The townland of Crew Beg is in the parish of Ballymore in Armagh County. It
is labelled number 20 on the map.
The Environment and Heritage Service Sites and Monuments Record (2002) notes the following in this townland:

Field notes of the 1960s record a reasonably well preserved circular enclosure c.36.5m in diam. It was defined by a bank 0.9m high above the interior on the S side, but somewhat larger on the more vulnerable NW. The site has since been levelled, except for a short arc of bank around the N which has been left below a field boundary. It is c.5m wide & 1.8m high above the interior. On the outside it falls c.2m to the base of a ditch 4m wide x 0.6m deep. The rest of the perimeter is seen as a break in slope.
