THE TOWNLAND OF CULLENTRAGH
The townland of Cullentragh is in the parish of Eglish in Armagh County. It
is labelled number 22 on the map.
The Environment and Heritage Service Sites and Monuments Record (2002) notes the following in this townland:

CONDITION: No visible remains
Half a circular “Fort” c.40m in diam. is shown on the OS 6″ map of 1835. The N side has apparently been removed to make way for the adjacent road. By the time of the 1863 edition only a “Site of Fort” is indicated & now there are now no visible remains. The site was located slightly N of the summit of a drumlin ridge with good views especially to the NW.
