    SMR NO: ARM 013:013
    Grid Ref: H93734455
    Townland: KILLYRUDDAN
    Condition: No visible remains
On a small local eminence, in pasture which slopes down to a small stream on the E. A circular earthwork c.40m diam. is shown on the OS 6″ map of 1863, but this was removed some time before 1922. The field has been regularly ploughed since then, and all that remains is a slight curve in the field boundary to the S. There are still some faint undulations in the field, and earlier field records note a slightly raised circular area c.37 m diam. The area is still known as “the fort”.
