THE TOWNLAND OF LURGYROSS
The townland of Lurgyross is in the parish of Loughgilly in Armagh County.

CONDITION: No visible remains
A small pecked circle described as the “Site of Kings Ring” is shown on the 1863 OS 6″ map. This indicates a feature c.25-30m in diam., most probably a rath, but there are now No visible remains. The site was located on the highest part of a ridge running N-S, and commanded an extensive view in all directions.
