THE TOWNLAND OF TIREARLY

The townland of Tirearly is in the parish of Lisnadill in Armagh County. It
is labelled number 40 on the map.

Paterson (Armachiana, Vol. 16, p.26) notes:

…Tir is a common word for land and in its various forms begins about 180 place
names.
